Before he was “The Sucklord” on Work of Art, he was just Morgan, a guy who needed help getting a date. He appeared on the first episode of the 2006 VH1/Logo hipster dating show Can’t Get A Date.

It’s good to have him back on TV again.

How many weeks in will we get rid of the contestant who plays “reality show” rather than “artist”?

It’s surprising what inspires the “first erection” for someone young and artistic.

It’s Doctor Who time again.  If you haven’t already seen the “Vincent” episode by way of BitTorrent it’s on tonight.  Make sure to tune in right on time for the newest bow-tie mention…

Doctor Who wasn’t the only show that featured Vincent Van Gogh as a guest star this week.  He was also the annoying neighbor of Thu Tran on Food Party.  I never would have pegged Vincent Van Gogh as having a vegan Koala bear for a pet, but I have to admit it was awfully cute.

You must watch Work of Art tonight on Bravo.  No excuses.
Yes it is a competition reality show, but one worth watching.  These artists aren’t selling out by taking their artwork to TV, they are merely adapting to the times. There is no dumbing down of the art for mass consumption, instead this show illustrates how easy it is for anyone to understand and appreciate.
Bravo is taking a risk airing “art” programming without obvious mainstream appeal, but hopefully it will influence other true creatives to bring their talent to television and improve the overall quality of what we get to see when we come home to relax in front of the set.
Work of Art Premiere: Wednesday June 9th 11pm, Bravo Regular time slot: Wednesdays 10pm, Bravo

Here is the first 5 minutes of Exit Through The Gift Shop a “Banksy film” premiering in limited release next week. Nobody seems to know if it’s a documentary or fiction, but the buzz from Sundance was amazing and the crowd in attendance was told not give away the ending on twitter. I can’t wait to see the film and the potential “street art” marketing that could happen around the premiere.
